So, the good news is that not only did I watch this evenings interview with Ioan Gruffudd on S4C but I also managed to record a copy of the entire programme. Yay! Bad news is that I am absolutely buggered if I can figure out how to view the subtitles :( The programme is already available to view on S4C's watch again service here (sorry, UK only ( Read more... )

I am sorry that it is UK only. I might watch it sans subtitles, just to to hear his voice... He has a dark brown voice, and it is all bumpy. You know, I just realized, his voice is like his hair.

If neither Nod or I can get a subtitled version I'll upload the Welsh version anyway. There are worse things to do with your time than listen to Ioan Gruffudd speaking Welsh for an hour ;)

Too bad about the subtitles. I hope a second version becomes available soon so we can all enjoy it!

I wasn't actually interviewed for the project (sorry if I gave that impression), they just wanted some footage of me. And it sounds like I made it in, which is fantastic.

Looking forward to hearing more from nodbear!

More from Nodbear !

I managed to record it too = but am not at home this week so can't comment yet on the subtitle issue = however where I am staying at the moment has digital terrestrial Tv and getsS4C through that - I think it might be easier to get subtitles thatway and if I watch the subtitles on there I might then cope wtih 'translating' the non subtitled version from mty sky recording at home
there is also a small chance that the hotel Anteros and I s are staying in might have terrrestrial access to S4C - lots of west of england towns do as it is just over the water from them
so gan bwyll a daliwich ati - keep calm and don;t give up - hope we can sort it for you one way or another :)
Ioan looks grand in it btw - even in the rain at the Celtic Manor in Newport !

Absolutely no need to apologise! Probably me not paying attention to what you said. It's a great shot of you! You're the first shot that appears in the second section of the programme, immediately after the first commercial break :) I'll send you a copy of the Welsh version if we can't get a hold of a subtitled copy.
