I think it's fair to say that there are an awful lot of Paul McGann fans on Tumblr who thoroughly appreciate him in naval uniform. *cough* And then people (I couldn't possibly comment on my own involvement here) have been posting a lot of excerpts from the books that generally feature Bush and Hornblower being adorable about each other, and the logical conclusion of these two things seems to be shipping Bush/Hornblower.

Does anyone here have a tumblr, instead of just lurking like me? Because this seems like a prime moment to bring up the "Save Hornblower" letter-writing campaign. I'm still waiting/hoping for a response, but the more people who write in, the better.

I don't have a tumblr, I just pull a few of the feeds into my LJ. pitselly runs fuckyeahhornblower.tumblr.com but if you just google tumblr horatio hornblower you'll see everyone using the tags. Not sure what the best way is to reach them about the letter writing campaign but it has to be worth a try!

I'm torn about the letter-writing. More Ioan in uniform and more tall ships?Awesome. No ARCHIE? Tragedy! if they'd just make movies of my headcanon, I'd be fine.
