(OOC: And continuing from the eventual conclusion of this thread...)

[Getting out of the apartment had been a good idea, after all.

Somewhere around the junction where House 31 is located, Robert (with Don not far behind) catches sight of Helios making his stumbling way through the village. He obviously looks completely out of it - though he visibly doesn't seem injured in any way - and Robert immediately sprints up to him with a downright desperate air.]

Helios!

[Robert steps protectively closer to Helios, wanting to put a hand on his side to steady him, even if he isn't falling down.]

So utterly fascinating... yes, I would be most curious to learn myself. Perhaps I could analyze it...

[He doesn't want it to short out his nanocomputer, though.]

[ He doesn't need it yet. He really needs to learn to take a break. ] Really the both of you would?

[ Just a slight chuckle. ]

I wouldn't be opposed to trying to teach it to the both of you. But...it's probably going to be a bit hard analyzing it. Since, since it's connected to me. Ah--well, it's a soul bonding mechanism. It's bound in such a way that directly correlates to the caster's soul.

[Of course he would; Don wants to learn everything. But not right now.]

Can we take you home, Helios?

[Yes, there are better things to do right now, surprisingly.]

Ah... y-yes, that would be more important at the moment. After all, you must be... entirely exhausted.

... And the process of checking these barriers... it must be, er, e-energy-intensive. So I believe we ought to take you home as soon as possible - er, provided that is alright with you.

[ Exhausted is an understatement. It's not until Robert mentions it that he actually feels is hit him. ] Ah. Home, right, y-yes. That...that might best. There's still one more left though...I-I should check on it before going back home.

[ A tired sigh. ] The, the playground.

[But that's all the way back in the other direction.]

Come on...

[Is Helios still okay to walk on his own?]

We could at the very least escort you th-there...

... But it is inordinately f-far, especially when you are... not in the most healthy condition.

[Even Robert can tell that Helios is pretty much about to fall over.]

... Please, at least a-accept our... assistance?

If-if you want. I-I don't want to impose on you... [ Which is true. He didn't want to impose on anyone at the moment. But he is tired and he in all honesty does want some company, even if he's been trying to avoid it. ]

It would be nice walking back with other people though. I don't, I don't mind. Thank you I-I appreciate it the both of you. [ Just a small smile. ]

[Don will semi-subtly put himself back in leaning-on position, if Helios should decide he wants that kind of assistance. Either way, Don will be walking very slowly at his side.]

You are hardly i-imposing. On the contrary, to... to do otherwise would be repugnant.

[And he just wants to be clingy at Helios forever, now. So clingy. At any rate, he's certainly moving to help out if he can.]

And... company would be preferable, would it not? You still have quite a w-ways to go, if... if you really do wish to go all the way to the playground.

[ He's mildly comfortable again. Being in such close proximity to people. Helios even looks a bit better knowing that he hasn't really impeded on any of their plans, or at least they haven't made it so obvious. ]

Yes, yes it would. I forget how far away it is compared to here. I-I'd use a teleportation spell...but, I'm far too tired. It would be dreadful to mess it up with two other people within the circle.

[ That and he wouldn't be able to read the symbols anyway, not that he knows anything about his penalty quite yet. ]

[NO TELEPORTATION. Don is never subjecting himself to Helios' teleportation again, no matter how energetic and capable the wizard feels.]

That's okay, there's - there's no rush.

[The teleporting kind of freaked Robert out too when he did it, though it at least didn't half-kill him.]

Yes... n-no rush at all. Please, do feel free to... t-take your time.

[It gives Robert more time with his two favourite people, after all. And clinging is the best thing to do in this situation.]

[ Sorry Don! Helios doesn't know about your run in with it! Helios will nod and smile as they begin to walk back the opposite way he came a few hours ago. It is slow and it will take sometime and Helios feels like he's intruding even if they say he isn't. But it's not like he's in any mood or condition to argue so he will just walk staring sometimes at things that catch his eye. ]

[And Don doesn't want to mention said run-in too specifically. So he just says nothing as they walk slowly back towards the school.]

[This may get awkward.]
