"Alfons is dying" this and "Alfons is dying" that... is that all anyone can think about? The answer is obvious: We drag him away from his goddamned rockets, by force if need be.
That's the problem! He won't! I know Alfons...and he won't give up on his dream. It's more important to him than his own life--how are we ever going to hope to drag him away from it?

You speak as if only one of them is that unfortunate. Is he really the only struck by this?
What kind of medicine does this place have, is it something that can fix the problem once he's removed from his studies?

The medicine here is a little better than the stuff where we're from. It should be able to help if he'd just get the hell away from those rockets.
