I had to step away from my computer before I reviewed because I all I could think to write was 'holy $#!+!!!' this is good. I am still finding it difficult to express how utterly wonderful this story was. The imagery was astounding and the emotions shown through your word choice. Damn, didn't see that twist coming. D: Poor Roy needing to let go Maes, but it's all for the best. Minor thing is I want to know how Maes falls for James's mom. Perhaps an idea for another potential fic? :3 Overall though, great work!
