I love the progression work here, and I love how you showed him getting more and more detached and how it was obvious he was thinking of someone else. It's sad though that you wrote yourself as a placeholder for his true desires :(

(but it's awesome Roy got to totally tap dat azz lol)

That was heartbreaking. It's stories like this that remind me that Roy can be a jerk to other people even when he's really, really not a jerk.

Awww, poor Emma. I have to echo what the first person said, it is easy to see how he pulls further and further away from you with each time you guys... get together. It is both sweet and sad.

Some of my friends know that I have a little thing for a certain manga character and think that I am totally nuts, but I, too, were it possible, would have sex with Roy. (He IS hot, isn't he?) XD Over and over. Everywhere. No strings attached. (I'm crazy, but not stupid!) I would be devastated when it was over, but that would mean that he was happy (hopefully) like in your fic. It would have been worth it.

I feel like you truly showed how it would be. Any fic where Emma (or I) lived happily ever after with Mustang would be a big fat lie, even if he were real.

Anime crushes rock! I myself have a super one on Roy and a soft spot for Kakshi Hatake, Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hyuuga and, dare I say it, Sasuke Uchiha. XD

And Byakuya from Bleach has been known to turn me on greatly, and Izuru Kira is just plain adorable. <3

And before I forget, Gin Ichimaru is fucktastic! Okay, so Bleach is pretty much an excuse to stare at all the boy candy and drool! XD

Gin is totally fucktastic, so is evil Aizen, but Captain Kyoraku is my freakin' favorite, I think because he's a pervert (I'm naturally drawn to them XD) Honestly, just about all the dudes on Bleach are hot.

Every guy on Blassreiter is MEGAHAWT, especially Hermann and Joseph, who are played by Roy and Ling's voice actors. (and you haven't LIVED until you hear that Roy voice screaming obscenities!!! I had an instant fangasm when I heard him shout out 'Don't fuckin' touch him!!")

Love the icon! FMA does have some great male characters. I was so happy when Havoc was doing PT at the end, because he is just such a sweet guy. Miles rocks the hair and glasses. And Kimblee- what can I say? He'd be very hard to resist, but what would one be getting into with him? Enticing, but scary!
