There is going to be a masive brawl tomorrow. I'm sure Real will apeal for at least some of teh reds (they got 4: Rui Faria the phisio - his 4th this season lol, Sergio, Mesut and Mou) ... and to be honest after Sergios red, justifable one - the faul was bad and he already had one yellow, the ref just lost it. i mean ... red for mouthing off? Depends on what he said but STILL!

And I am not letting myself believe we can still win it. For now league is still lost for me.

I'm sure that Real Madrid is PISSED. And I also was shocked that the ref would send Ozil off. Maybe his Spanish is not quite perfect yet and he said something that he did not intend to say?

We can't win the League... but apparently Real Madrid can still lose it. Even if it's only by two points at a time.

But really, all I ask is that the race stays close enough that we don't have to give them a guard of honor when we play them at home next month.

We'll have to wait and see what the refs say ... I may be wrong but i think it was the same ref that sent off Pique after he argued with him in the tunel.

Exactly.

Some Mdridista told me they need 14 or 16 points advantage for pasillo at Camp Nou so I guess we are quite safe here:)

I somehow can't imagine Özil saying anything really bad - although, as you mentioned, it might be a language problem, possibly combined with the referee being thoroughly pissed.

I'm impressed with the difference between the Liga and the Serie A: no referee would ever give a red card to the trainer and two players of Juventus/Milan/Inter in the same match. Even one red card to those teams would be newsworthy.

I agree - Ozil just seems like a sweet guy who works hard and keeps his head down.

I think the ref was being overly generous with the cards because RM have gotten away with so much this season. He even gave one to Pepe for no apparent reason - I guess for diving, but he wasn't - this time at least. The Boy Who Cried Wolf, I guess.
