#25; "You're just that good, Little Grey.."
LEXIE: Mark’s trying to kill Alex.
CRISTINA: What?
MEREDITH: Well, I think I mentioned sleeping with Alex was a bad idea.
LEXIE: No, it’s not a bad idea. It’s happy. And easy. You know how much mental energy Mark took up? You know, I- I am telling you, ending it is the best thing that could have happened to me. And for him. Do you know how much happier he’d be if he could just move on?
MEREDITH: Looked to me like he was trying to pick up Teddy.
LEXIE: Well, sure. Oh, he’ll sleep with her. He slept with Addison. He’ll screw anything that moves. But what, I’m supposed to check into a convent? Why is he hanging on like this?
CRISTINA: You’re just that good, Little Grey. There’s no getting over you. [Lexie walks away]
MEREDITH: You clear the room. Every time, you clear the room.
#24; "Do you need me?"
TEDDY: Yang, are you coming?
CRISTINA: Yeah. Um. Uh, what about the kid?
NURSE: I’ll take her.
KELLY: Mommy. Mommy!!
CRISTINA: Um. Uh. Do you need me?
TEDDY: What?
CRISTINA: You have Avery. Do you need me?
TEDDY: Yang. In or out. Let’s go.
CRISTINA: Um. [walks out of the elevator]
#23; "Stop. Stop talking."
MARK: This may be bad timing, but I gotta ask. What did that guy have? I mean, he wasn’t much to look at. But, you and Stevens and Torres. Tell the truth. Was he.. you know.. hung?
LEXIE: That’s-
MARK: I know, I said bad timing.
LEXIE: I-
MARK: But, seriously, he was kind of a dorky little dude.
LEXIE: Stop. Stop talking.
MARK: Sorry. Sorry.
#22; "Dude, run away before I fond a brick."
ARIZONA: [to Teddy] Now, for my patient. Elliot Myer. He needs a lung transplant. [Alex walks by]
ALEX: Oh, hey, I’m down with a lung transplant.
ARIZONA: Oh. No. Because you slept with my girlfriend and I find that when I look at you, I want to hit you with a brick. [smiles]
ALEX: Dude, that was like years ago.
ARIZONA: [laughs] Maybe, but jealousy is a green-eyed monster and if you ask any one of my kids, they’ll tell you there’s no reasoning with a monster. Dude, run away before I find a brick. [Alex walks away] As my new friend, don’t judge me for that.
#21; "Nothing is happening to me."
MEREDITH: Cristina. [Cristina starts to cry] Cristina. Cristina, talk to me.
CRISTINA: No.
MEREDITH: Cristina. What happened? [Meredith tries handing her a box of Kleenex] Here. [Meredith throws the box next to Cristina] Talk to me. Tell me what happened.
CRISTINA: Nothing. Nothing is happening to me. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm like, chasing after surgeries I don't care about. Do you know how long its been since I've held a heart in my hand. Since I felt that- that joy. That rush. I miss Burke. I miss him all day. It's not the relationship or the sex. I miss.. Every day when he was here I held hearts. And I got picked not because of some favoritism, but because it was just like- it was right. And I learned. I learned. And I felt seen. And now, you know what? I don't know what. I spent this entire day fighting. And I don't wanna do it anymore.
MEREDITH: Come over here. [Cristina lays in the hospital bed with Meredith]
#20; "So. I get the chicken pox."
CALLIE: What are you doing? You’ll get the chicken pox.
ARIZONA: So. I get the chicken pox.
#19; "Is this the room for the calendar shoot?"
DEREK: Karev, what are you doing?
MIRANDA: He's saving a baby's life, that's what.
REED: Dr. Bailey, I- Oh. No shirt. He's wearing no shirt.
DEREK: Have you started to lactate yet?
ALEX: Bailey made me.
MARK: Is this the room for the calendar shoot? I was told it was downstairs.
#18; "In in love with Teddy."
ARIZONA: Why couldn’t we have gone dancing for Girls Night? Or.. bowling.
CALLIE: [Arizona mumbles to herself] We took a vote. You lost. Besides, it’s fun.
ARIZONA: Says who.
CALLIE: Bailey’s face. Look at it.
MIRANDA: [at bat] Go, go, go! C'mon, c'mon!
CRISTINA: You know. I’m in love with Teddy. I love her.
MEREDITH: You’re like Lexie with the inappropriate feelings for inappropriate people.
CRISTINA: What can I say? My heart lives in my scalpel.
MIRANDA: [Bailey hits the ball] Beat that, Yang.
CRISTINA: Oh, no. It's Teddy's turn.
#17; "You're supposed to love me no matter what."
CALLIE: Alright, fine. I get it. I sprang this on you. It was a lot to take in and you feel like you don’t have much experience with gay people. Even though Uncle Berto hasn’t been single for six years for no reason.
CARLOS: Calliope-
CALLIE: It’s still an adjustment. That said, you should have adjusted by now. I mean, you’re supposed to love me no matter what. That’s what a parent does.
CARLOS: I love you with all my heart. But with all that’s going on with you now. I’m scared for you. It’s an abomination. It’s an eternity in hell.
FR. KEVIN: Let’s not start with words like hell.
CALLIE: Oh, that’s why you flew 3,000 miles? To tell me I was going to hell. I thought you came here to apologize.
CARLOS: I can’t apologize, Calliope. I don’t understand what happened, or where I went wrong!
CALLIE: Where you went wrong?!
CARLOS: Leviticus. ‘Thou shall not lie with a man as one lies with a female; it is an abomination’-
CALLIE: Oh, don’t do that, daddy. Don’t quote the Bible at me!
CARLOS: ‘The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is exceedingly grave.’
FR. KEVIN: Carlos, this is not what we-
CALLIE: Jesus. ‘A new commandment that I’ve given to you that you love one another.’
CARLOS: Romans. ‘We know that-‘
CALLIE: Jesus. ‘He who is without sin among you; let him cast the first stone.’
CARLOS: So you admit it’s a sin?
CALLIE: ‘Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.’ Jesus. ‘Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.’ Jesus. ‘Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.’ Jesus is my Savior, daddy, not you. And Jesus would be ashamed of you for judging me. He would be ashamed of you for turning your back on me. He would be ashamed.
#16; "Of course I did it, Arizona."
ARIZONA: [Callie walks in] Oh. I have wine. White and red. And I have cigarettes, which is awful, I know. But I only smoke on very rare-- occasionally-- and it's only when I know I'm gonna be in trouble, like now.
CALLIE: It was inappropriate. Not to mention manipulative and stupid. You smoke?
ARIZONA: I know. Okay, listen. I know you have every right to be mad at me, but I ran out of options, so--
CALLIE: It was an expensive test! There was no indication to do it! There's a reason Webber turned you down!
ARIZONA: So you didn't do it?
CALLIE: Of course I did it, Arizona.
ARIZONA: Thank you.
CALLIE: No, don't thank me yet. The scan didn't show anything.
ARIZONA: What? Come on. Nothing?
CALLIE: No.
ARIZONA: Okay, now that. That looks a little funny to me.
CALLIE: I thought so too, but the Radiologist said it's normal. [Arizona looks disappointed] Oh. Okay. Alright. Just come here. Is there anything peculiar..
#15; "You can't move to Portland."
ARIZONA: I hate, hate, hate this merger, because I hate long distance relationships. I don’t believe in them. So, you can’t move to Portland.
CALLIE: Well, when I mentioned it this afternoon you didn’t seem to mind. You were like, “Move to Portland.”
ARIZONA: I didn’t know that I was allowed to mind. I didn’t know if we were girlfriends. But then you said girlfriend. You called me your girlfriend. So I need to know. Am I your girlfriend?
CALLIE: Yeah.
ARIZONA: Okay. Good. So, yeah, no, you’re not moving to Portland.
#14; "I pick you. I choose you."
MEREDITH: Hold on, okay? Hold on! I love you. Please don’t die.
DEREK: Get out of here, Meredith.
MEREDITH: Do not die. Do you understand? I can’t live without you.
CRISTINA: I called the police.
MEREDITH: If you die I die. Okay, the police are coming!
CRISTINA: [stutters] Mer- they’re- they’re not- they’re not gonna get here. They’re not coming for us. Not in time. Oh God, Mer. Mer.
MEREDITH: I pick you. I choose you. You don’t get to die on me.
CRISTINA: Wh- What are we gonna do? Derek needs surgery.
MEREDITH: No, you stay awake!
CRISTINA: What do we do?
MEREDITH: You stay awake!
#13; "I love you. Everything about you."
ARIZONA: Hey! We scored. My cousin said we could use their timeshare. So! Fiji. We can either go at the end of this month, or we could save up three weeks of time and rearrange our surgical schedules and go at the end of next month. [Callie shows Arizona her hand] What’s that?
CALLIE: This cute girl’s number. And I can’t get it off. And, I’m not- I’m not gonna use it. I don’t wanna use it. But I- I can’t stop wondering if maybe she wants a baby one day. [Arizona sighs] I love you. Everything about you. But there’s this one thing that I need. And I can’t change it. I can’t ask you to change. [Callie starts to cry] I don’t want you to change.
ARIZONA: I can’t be the one that keeps you from having a baby. [pauses] I love you too. And.. we can keep going.
CALLIE: But I don’t know where we’re going.
ARIZONA: Come here. [Arizona kisses her]
CALLIE: God. What are we gonna do?
ARIZONA: Well, I’m gonna get my stuff together. [Callie and Arizona hug each other]
CALLIE: And what? We’ll just…
ARIZONA: We’ll see each other at work.
CALLIE: I’m so sorry. [Callie hugs Arizona tighter] I love you.
ARIZONA: Me too. Me too.
#12; "This is your room."
MEREDITH: See this? Right here.
CRISTINA: Uh huh.
MEREDITH: This is your room. You have a room at the new house in the woods.
CRISTINA: My own room.
MEREDITH: Yeah.
CRISTINA: Thank you.
#11; "How gay are you?"
CALLIE: Oh. Hey, is, uh, Mark around?
LEXIE: He’s in the shower.
CALLIE: Oh, thanks.
[Callie talks with Mark in the bathroom, then walks out]
LEXIE: Are you really gay? Like, how gay are you? On a scale of- of one to... gay. Cause that's my boyfriend in- in the shower. My hot, hot naked boyfriend and I- how gay are you?
CALLIE: I'm sorry. It's- I've known Mark awhile, but I'll try not to do that again- the naked in the shower thing.
LEXIE: Or- or the you half naked in the hallway thing. Cause- cause even if you really are gay, he's- he's not and- and you're hot.
CALLIE: He doesn't look at my boobs anymore. The first thing he used to look at when I walked into anywhere was my boobs. He doesn't look anymore. Not since he met you. Okay?
LEXIE: Okay.
#10; "I'm sleeping!"
ARIZONA: [pager goes off / Arizona wakes up] Please don't be mine. Not mine. [Arizona pushes Callie off of the bed] Wake up! [Callie mumbles] They're paging you. [Callie gets out of bed / Arizona's pager goes off] I'm sleeping!
#9; "Arizona..."
ARIZONA: Hey.
CALLIE: Hey. [sighs] Arizona. [Arizona kisses Callie, then walks away]
#8; "I can't live without you and our ten kids."
ARIZONA: I’m gonna go see if kids need help finding their parents.
CALLIE: People died. People are dead. I- I don’t wanna have kids if it means I can’t be with you.
ARIZONA: No. No. We’ll have kids. We’ll have all kinds of kids. And I always thought I wasn’t cut out to be a mom. But you’ll be a great mom. You’ll be an amazing mom. And I love you so much and I can’t live without you and our ten kids.
[Callie kisses Arizona]
#7; "You made me love you."
IZZIE: I don't know what you're so mad about and I don't know what you're scared of because you want talk to me. But I'm scared too Alex. I- I can't. If you won't-- If we're gonna have any chance at a life together, then I need you to... please.
ALEX: You died in my arms. You died in my arms. You freakin' died and then you left instructions that I wasn't allowed to save your life. You want to know what I'm scared of?! I'm scared of everything! I'm scared to move! I'm scared to breathe! I'm scared to touch you! I can't lose you. I won't survive, and that's your fault. You made me love you. You made me let you in, and then you freakin' die in my arms.
#6; "No one's loved me."
APRIL: My name- My name is April Kepner. I’m twenty-eight years old. I- I was born on April 23rd in Oh-Ohio. I’m from Columbus, Ohio. Umm, my mom- my mom is a teacher and my- my dad is a farmer. Corn- Corn- He grows corn. Their- Their names are Karen and Joe. I have three sisters. Libby’s the oldest, I’m next- then there’s Kimmy and Alice. I- I- I haven’t done anything yet. I haven’t. I’ve barely lived. I’m not finished yet. No one’s loved me and- please. Please. I’m someone’s child! I’m a person. I’m a person.
GARY: Run.
#5; "I'm still in love with you."
MARK: Lex. I’m still in love with you. I tried not to be, but it didn’t work. And Sloan’s gone. There’s no baby. And I don’t want to sleep around. I want another chance. I’m in love with you.
LEXIE: Karev is- He’s- Mark I- I- have a boyfriend.
MARK: I know. I’m saying you can have a husband.
#4; "Mark's moving on."
LEXIE: Mark’s moving on. Like, really. It’s- It’s- That’s- It’s great. It’s- That’s um, that’s perfect. It’s- It’s perfect.
#3; "You do?"
ARIZONA: I love you.
CALLIE: You do?
ARIZONA: I do.
CALLIE: I love you too.
#2; "I don't need that."
CALLIE: My cousin’s baby punched her in the face. Literally. She had a black eye from a one year old. [Arizona sighs] Who needs it, right? I don’t need that. They scream. They’re grimey. They smell like poop- [starts crying] and the house smells like poop.
ARIZONA: Don’t. Don’t. Don’t. [Arizona kisses Callie]
#1; "But he bent for me, because I'm his daughter."
ARIZONA: Most people think that I was named for the state, but it’s not true. I was named for a battleship. The U.S.S. Arizona. My grandfather was serving on the Arizona when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and he saved nineteen men before he drowned. Pretty much everything my father did his whole life was about honoring that sacrifice. I was raised to be a good man in a storm. Raised to love my country. Love my family. Protect the things I love. When my father Colonel Daniel Robbins, of the United States Marine Corps, heard that I was a lesbian, he said he only had one question. I was prepared for, “How fast can you get the hell out of my house?” But instead, it was, “Are you still who I raised you to be?” My father believes in country the way that you believe in God. And my father is not a man who bends, but he bent for me, because I’m his daughter. I’m a good man in a storm. I love your daughter. And I protect the things I love. Not that I need to. She doesn’t need it. She’s strong, and caring, and honorable. And she’s who you raised her to be.
