I remember this case from years ago. :o(

I like This Page as a short version of why Simon Wessely needs to watch out when the revolution comes. His surname is a bit like "weasely" as well.

I totally forgot to say! I remember the case but I didn't realise it was Wessely! I guess I didn't pay attention to names much back then.

thats truley awful, sad and heartbreaking. I can't even imagine what it would of been like for Ean and his poor parents.

Do you know if he is still in this situation?

This happened way back in 1988 so I'm unsure if Ean still has ME or not.
He would be 31 years of age by now.

If I'm not mistaken, I know who child X, mentioned in that blog. I'm bound by data protection though so can't say any more.

It's strange, some of Wessley's adult research is ok, and even, dare I say it, sympathetic. But when it comes to kids, he is utterly evil.

I know we're lucky that things like this don't happen now.

But forcing kids to do cbt and things like that are still going on all this time later, which makes you enraged that people still can't open their mind to a very serious illness that completely robs you of your life.
It makes you feel sick.
