Well, SHIT! I'm crying now. Honestly, I think this needs to carry a warning 'If you've ever loved someone and they broke your heart, you will need a strong drink by the end of Part 1'. The bit with Burt, yep that's when I lost it. I miss my ex's family more than him and the loss of that family been tougher to get over. I don't think I've read a fic that so utterly captures the devastation of a broken heart like this one. The process of getting out of bed, getting through a whole workday without losing your mind - yes it's an achievement. And I had my own 'Santana' kicking my arse all the way until I smiled again. Brilliantly done - so, so good.
