Lorne! \o/ Oh, this is lovely! The use of second person is interesting and well-done, and I just love the way you looked at the gene ("a glittering anomaly on your curled DNA", that and the last paragraph are beautiful!) and what it means to be a carrier and the interconnectedness of the city. And I like how you include all the little touches about Lorne's character that we've learned, and the painting is so sad. *cuddles Lorne*
