THIS IS IMPORTANT. These are not grown ups, these are girls with lots of world spinning out of control around them.
Effy shaves a lot of her hair some summers and proudly sports an undercut.
I can see this, effy stonem and her terriblewonderful fashion that twists up the wicked and divine. (seriously wtf was fire thinking)
Dawn thinks she's crazy and still beautiful like this and she kisses her shaved head often. Dawn buys sensible clothes, but even then laundry day still means old Def Leppard shirts she stole from Spike, that Effy pretended to hate for some time and now occasionally steals and wears herself.
YELLS VERY LOUDLY AT THIS WHOLE PART OKAY
Sometimes Dawn doesn't put her books down for hours that turn into days that turn into weeks and Effy doesn't know how to get her back.bby bby ( ... )

A lot of the time Effy spends days not talking and not doing much of anything, because maybe she doesn't matter at all to Dawn if Dawn can read for days on end without noticing Effy, without needing Effy.Ugh I love this. I love Dawn getting lost in herself. I love Effy pulling her out sometimes and I love Effy not being capable of pulling her out sometimes. I love the idea of these two girls silently spinning in their own heads and forgetting that there is someone else there, someone else who is silently spinning with them, beside them, in spite of them ( ... )

QC NOSTALGIA DAYS YES PLEASE. dora/marty, the little ship that almost could, it was glorious. and faye/sven, i had such a thing for faye/sven, sven being so utterly smitten by this loud swearing hurricane of a girl and faye just being faye and getting what she wants for herself. I WILL SHIP IT FOREVER. also raven was a glorious fountain of randomness and cuteness and wisdom and penelope is a superhero. that is all.
