So the wool trousers and tights have gone away? Yay!!!

Y'know, when I was in Indiana last week I had to buy a freaking coat 'cause it was *freezing*. IN APRIL! Crazy talk, I tell ya. This Southern girl just can't take it.

Oh! I just bought the most adorable espadrille-ish beaded mules and of course, had to give myself a pedi in order to wear them.

Hmmm. Allconsuming looks like an awesome timewaster.

I foolishly put all my winter clothes away weeks ago - it's actually been cool enough to need them most mornings these past few weeks. But we're slowly getting there.

I rarely get organized enough to actually do anything nice to my feet - but it's fun to think that if I did, at least someone would see. :-)

Huurah! Hurrah! That is fabulous. I'm just trying to decide if 3:30pm is late enough to start on the sangria. :-)

I *love* university campuses when there's hardly anyone around.

AMEN.

Of course, I'm leaving for a bit, but when I get back, it'll still be quiet and relatively calm. Until Arts Fest starts up, but whatever. Summer!!

Summer on campus (or in the area) is sooooo peaceful. The library is quiet, the cafes are quiet, the restaurants and bookshops are quiet. It's *wonderful* I'm sure I'd be bothered if I owned a business that depended on student dollars, but thankfully I don't.

I have lots of plans to go sit by the river in the middle of campus with my dogs and get caught up on all my academic reading. :-)

Happy Days, indeed, my love. Sunshine and indolence and internets and avocados and ice tea. What could be better?

Also, I just found out I don't have to pay a gagillion dollars to replace the windshield on the car I rented to drive to Montreal. It got a wee rock chip in it, right in the middle of the driver's view, and I have been waiting on tenterhooks for them to call me and tell me I'm on the hook for lots of money (cause of course I declined the damage waiver insurance). But it's my lucky day - they were able to fill it for less than $20 and they aren't charging me, so I pretty much win. *beams*

Soon! Soon! I'm spoiled because I wasn't teaching this semester - everyone else still has piles of grading to get through. But the end is in sight, L. (hugs)
