well it's happened
It's officially summer! Never mind the date, or the weather where you are, or any of that. Here's why it's official:
1. The undergrdads started moving out of their dorms this weekend! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Soon we will be rid of all but a few of them staying on for summer school. I *love* university campuses when there's hardly anyone around.
2. It's forecast to get up to nearly 80 degrees F today. Far and away the warmest temps we have had yet this year. Time to start thinking about higher SPF sunscreen and pedicures. :-)
3. (This one is the clincher.) I just spend 2 hours on a week day morning adding foods and books and movies to my allconsuming profile. I haven't had time to faff about with the internets during work hours in months and months. Since last summer, really. I'd almost forgotten how silly and pleasant it could be. I'm totally in love with All Consuming. It could stand a few improvements (like it would be nice to be able to delete items when you realize you've accidentally added them twice, and there needs to be a way to import items from Amazon or Netflix or IMDB or summat), but it's a brilliant idea. *beams*
Happy End of Term/Beginning of Summer to everyone, even you poor sods stuck in regular jobs who don't get to slack off for the next 4 months. :-)
