Leaving in less than 24 hours and I'm beginning to feel incredibly lonely. Going to consider getting a pet or several plants when I get back. Goodness knows there won't be a man or decent friends in my life anytime soon. Siiiiigh.

morning rant
I have been working at the library for approximately 17 months now. It's a beautiful establishment lead by some of the most narrow and arrogant individuals I have ever met. Just recently, it took me 3 email correspondents, a 20 minute conversation, AND a follow up the next day just to get my boss to understand that she miscalculated my schedule and ( Read more... ) -

It's official. This is going to be the best year of my life and I can die happy.
I have been accepted for a 5 week research/study abroad adventure to Australia and Fiji this summer. My heart is already pattering with anticipation. Countdown begins!!

Just a number, Just a peice of paper
Ended the semester with a 4.0. Kudos to me. I don't even remember if I ever had a 4.0 in high school that is how much I cared and therefore didn't try. A grade point average is really based off of turning in assignments to your professor, as opposed to an IQ score like some lead it to believe.
