I CANNOT EVEN RIGHT NOW. I was actually very pleased with how the Amy and Rory thing eventually panned out, which I was tremendously thankful for. They slipped in these tiny little details before the Doctor showed up to show that although they were both fundamentally the same people at their core, they were changed (such as Amy telling Rory she loved him on the phone when it was pointed out over the course of this series that she had never told him so, and Rory having no reservations whatsoever and actually being excited about continuing traveling with the Doctor). JUST YES. I still ship Eleven/Amy like it's my job, but I'm down with this.

I was talking with a good friend of mine the other day and she was all, you know, everyone in S5 is all right but I just don't feel the emotional connection that I used to with Who characters! And it took all I had to not be all LOL WRONG IRL in her face.
