SRS, U GUISES. U GUISES, SRS.

I typically hate acting prematurely, but it seems like my first thought was the correct thought. I think I got fired for my job today because I got up to get some air when my boss and supervisor was double fucking teaming me. I just don't know what to say about any of this. It was just so unexpected, and I should ( Read more... )

I raged and raged more as I read through this. If any of what they were saying about you was true, wouldn't they bring it to your attention BEFORE now? Instead of dumping all of it on you at once and basically snubbing you like a bitchy teenager? And the race card? WTF?

Bullshit. Sorry you had to go through this. :(

They brought it to me once a year ago when they cut my hours. I received them back, and didn't hear anything about it again. I think I wrote it in there somewhere, but that's a wall of text I don't want to read again. Haha.

Thanks, bb. Thanks.

Wowowowow. I totally think you should call the union, you've been there for a while, they shouldn't treat you like this. And I have a problem with the guy telling you not to make it a black thing for no reason, that is soooo unprofessional and mean, he needs to get shit for that.

Are shops a big deal for you guys? Because that is all they care about here. If you have a half decent shop record and show up for shifts, there is no reason why they should be treating you like this.

I'm sorry about all of this, by the way, god Vons treats people shit.

If Tony doesn't call me tomorrow, I'll call the Union. I just don't know what to say when I call. I never thought I would have to do something like this. I have a problem with it too, because I've never said anything like that and I gave the feeling that I was about to.

The funny thing about shops, Jamba Juice isn't shopped by Vons. They are done by an independent company, and Tony doesn't get those emailed to him. They go directly to Christa (and Amber). I didn't show up much on those shops, though; however, when I did, I scored 100%.

Thanks, bb and fellow Vons employee. <3

THAT IS SO RIDICULOUS ARGH :( Your managers sound like absolute tools. I think you should go to the union though--even if you don't want the job back, couldn't you still get some kind of compensation?

I hope so -- at least, it could make it possible for me to file for unemployment? I also think I have vacation time. I wonder if I do get fired, I could get that tiny amount cashed out, idk. idk.

this is such ridiculous bs. RIDICULOUS! pfft, you're better off without them! bosses should treat their employees with respect, especially when you've worked there for so long and have so much experience. It's not like you had only been there a couple days and you sucked. urgh this made me so mad. If I wasn't in Canada I would go in and complain for you

Seriously, I've always been there and reliable. I've changed shifts when necessary. I rarely came in sick. Hell, I repeatedly went in sick, damnit.
