Phoenix's own stomach is growling as he follows Terry through the doors, so the sight of tables upon tables of food is a welcoming sight.

Wait. No it isn't.

"Oh God. This is going to be a very long day, isn't it?" he groans as he looks around him.

Akihiko's stomach answers Phoenix's. He sends up a brief thanks to Kaa, who had warned him about the dangers of Nexus food at the party, before everything went to hell. He doubts he would've been able to resist the sight of the food otherwise.

"I get the feeling we're being toyed with."

The good news, she realizes, is that no one was eaten while they were asleep.

...The bad news being that they're still here, and that buzzing in her head still hasn't gone away. Dieu, this is going to drive her mad before the day is through.
