Terry's dreams were troubled by a little nagging voice similar to the ones a lot of people had been hearing lately. The difference was that he'd brought this one in with him, and he'd be leaving with it.
McGinnis. You couldn't possibly be handling all of this worse. People need a Batman, huh?Batman wiped his forehead, shaking the dreams and the

Wait. No it isn't.
"Oh God. This is going to be a very long day, isn't it?" he groans as he looks around him.

"I get the feeling we're being toyed with."

...The bad news being that they're still here, and that buzzing in her head still hasn't gone away. Dieu, this is going to drive her mad before the day is through.
She has just enough time to make sure her shoes are still on, and grab her steel pipe before following the three to...Wherever it is they're going. It at least looks a step up from the wilderness, and-
There's food. Lots of it, and she's realizing how empty her stomach is at the sight of it.
"...Well, what I would like to say is that this solves our problem very easily." She glances at the others. "But obviously, you don't agree?"

"Fine." She says shortly, and cuts off that train of thought. As if to back up her souring mood, her stomach gives another hungry growl. "But I still think it's a bad waste..." Her eyes flicker over where a generous slice of cake is, and she finds that she just can't help herself. She's been sleeping on an empty stomach all night, after all.
Her hand stretches out towards it, and brushes up close to a plate of whole, steamed fish. There's an angry hissing noise, and suddenly her hand yanks back, away from the whole arrangement as several things try to snap off her fingers.

Hunting sounds like it'll make him sweaty and blood, though, and a faint frown traces across his face when he realizes it. There's few things Kristoph hates more than being filthy.
Hopefully his Eldritch will help out. "You can have some, if you want," he says to Mitsuru. "But I do not want to be the mouse caught in the trap."

"Hunting sounds like a plan to me. It's easier than try to guess what plants we can eat, anyway."

He jumps as the things snap at Mitsuru. Once he gets his bearings again, he adds, "Yeah, and whatever's out there can't be any deadlier than what's in HERE, apparently."

Mitsuru Kirijo is not in the mood for this; either for getting her appetite or her expectations played with, and she's ready to let some of that vent out.
[Go on, then.]
She doesn't question that thought, and is more focused on swinging her pipe into the air, and then back down on the first plate that snapped at her. Then the next, and the next. Dishes are left shattered, the table top dented, and the food splattered into paste.

And speaking of that, Akihiko suddenly catches a glimpse of two waiters moving towards them. He wrinkles his nose at their monstrous appearances, then squares his shoulders and prepares to apologize for the disturbance.
That's when the the closer waiter's stitches unravel with a sickening 'pop', revealing rows of razor sharp teeth as the mouth stretches open wider and wider.
Akihiko stumbles back. "Uh, guys? Run or fight?"

No, certainly not. Kristoph's to-do list does not include death or panting in exhaustion.
There is, of course, an option, and one that he fully intends to use. That sick feeling around him flares again, and there's even a strange yellow glint in his blue eyes, turning them a sick shade of green. His vision slips, and it still hurts to look through dimensions; humans eyes weren't built to see in between height and width. But he can see it, and he reaches into that space. It's a really nice place to be, between dimensions, because when all distances are the same, he can be pretty far pretty fast. He grabs those lines, and his head hurts, but he yanks height and width around ( ... )

He throws them at the waiters, hoping the explosions stun them long enough to give the group a running start. "I've got you covered."

He nods. "Running is good. I am fully in support of running," he says, already turning to do so. Monster waiters. Great. Today was already turning out to be FANTASTIC.

Then, she's aware that those...very odd looking waiters from before are interested coming over, and their mouths are looking even more sick then usual.
And for a moment, that rage washing through her head gets drowned out. First, by the fact that they are in a very bad spot. And the second, when she looks over the waiters again, is the realization that this is not a proper staff.
"I...Running might be in order." Although wouldn't cutting their way out be much more satisfying? She flicks off any left over bits of food from her improvised weapon, and wavers between whether to go for the exit, or trying to elbow her way out.
