Damn, the holidays went by too fast. So fast I forgot to set my alarm for Saturday morning and missed PE for the hundredth time this school year... I feel you... I've never managed to convince myself I was worth something, still haven't. My whole post-high school studies have been about me feeling I'd never get anywhere and I still feel I don't have what it takes to actually do the job I have a degree for. However I got there despite that and it's objectively not going so bad (well yeah I also have a lot less ambition than you). What I'm trying to say is that just because you feel not good enough doesn't mean you are and that you can't accomplish anything, I for one know you're smart and logical and skilled and hard-working (once you're done procrastinating), and I'm sure you can do great things, I actually kind of admire you, I've already told you that. Also I think you shouldn't compare high school to college in terms of results, for example my mother barely got her bac and ended up in the top of her class in physio school, because she was finally studying what she liked. Idk how it goes for art but you obviously love it so... I understand you're afraid of failing, especially ( ... )

I'll admit your situation has heavily influenced my thinking about my studies. It's like that thing you once told me, "even in science you might not even be sure to get a job so #yolo". I know it was a joke, but in the end it's true: no matter what diploma you get, it'll never be written "JOB GUARANTEED!" on it. Which means that if I go into science, I need to be sure that I want to do that, and not do it just for the paycheck, or else I won't be happy working in that field, if I do get work in that field ( ... )
