I made potato cakes this morning. Divine. Left over mashed potato from Sunday's roast, bit of egg, bit of flour, salt and pepper, bit of grated cheese - all doughied together, flattened and pan fried. Left to cool, cut into wedges and smothered in butter

I found whitetower in someones journal the other day, can't remember who it was though, and she's doing fine. She has decided that she can't think of anything to say any more, so she'll just read and reply now and then.

psycgurl seems to think University is more important, and possibly even more fun, than we are, so she's never around anymore.

I'm not sure what's up with platypush, it's been a LONG time since I've heard anything from her, although she still posts over at ST every now and then.

I don't know who the other two are though, so I can't help you there at all.

Like Carole, I saw a post from Alenka not too long ago somewhere. Plat posts at ST (especially in the American Idol thread) every once in a while. Kath was posting regularly for a while; she had man troubles, and I was really quite worried. Haven't heard anything lately. And it's been so long since I've heard from Lish that I didn't even recognize her LJ name until you told LL who she was.

I haven't seen any LJ from Kath since Christmas, or before, I think. And I just checked Lish's LJ and the last update was late 2004! Maybe she is too busy being young. :)

Oooh, yum - potato cakes. We do them slightly differently, without the cheese and egg, cook 'em up in the frying pan and have 'em with our egg, bacon, sausage and tomato. I need to snag one of those 'Sam eating' icons I'm sure I saw somewhere...

My potato pancakes are normally just the potato without any added bits like cheese - but this morning was just all cheesey!
