So house deal fell through the other day, as Mom went with the Realtor and house inspector...  apparently the roof has mould...  which would be a PITA to fix...  if it were even possible to try fixing

Oh boy... replacing a roof is indeed one big expensive hassle.
Good call on backing off.

Almost lakeside sounds good though... Summer swimming! :D

Pita... ohh... I get it!! (sloooow...) Too bad about the house. Best of luck with the new one! If it is really close to Lake Ontario, be sure to check to make sure there is no fish smell wafting over when there's a South wind. ^^;
