It's been a shitty couple of weeks.
About a week after my parents left for Calgary, ostensibly to return in August, my Grandmother was admitted to hospital for a severe GI tract issue. Apparently my Aunt took her on Monday night (Jul 2). We didn't learn about this until Wednesday.

Recently, our condo complex decided to hire out a web development company to create a content management system for owners, tenants and managers. It was supposed to be unveiled in late April but we got it a ways closer to the summer. I haven't talked about it here much at all, but I moved in mid-January after co-signing with my parents for a condo unit in North York. It's not a bad place but it's quiet. Very very quiet. I reconnected recently with a friend from high school - more of an acquaintance back in high school, really - but it's been interesting to meet up again and see how things have changed. This week seems to be one for unreturned emails, calls and texts. It’s been a very slow week - made interminably slower by the fact that i finished a rush of work last week, incorporated, and am waiting to hear back about some more work stuff now. Also, touching base with a few friends has been touchy and difficult lately - rather worrisome.
