Wonderful and given the turn the show has given Elizabeth from "we'll always be there for you," to "take care of your own messess and leave my husband out of it," well, definitly in character.

It's interesting in that when we see that Peter and Neal have actually come closer than they've ever been before, even with James in the mix, Elizabeth, coldly and lovingly is weding them away from each other.

IKR? my slashy little brain says its because shes feeling threatened by neals closeness with Peter. Or realistically speaking, she is getting tired of PETERS obsession with Neal. Loved this!!!!

Oh wow, there's a certain breathlessness to this whole thing. I love that you got right down into Neal's panic and the way he puts a smile on over it and pushes himself forward.

Marvelously dark. And boy do I feel for Neal here. I understand Elizabeth being driven to protect the one she loves the most, but it's still hard because in a way Neal's the victim here too.
