I am alive!

Jul 16, 2012 21:17

I know I have been quiet for awhile, but things have been happening. I don't think I have told you, but at the spring 2010 when I graduated from high school, I went to a two-year study (?) in another school, where I would graduate to become a librarian. I stumbled badly at the first year, left almost half of the courses unfinished and had to ( Read more... )

So good to hear you're alive, I did worry about you!

Hugs, can you telecommute or volunteer?

I might be able to find something, but we'll see. It's pretty much open now.

Hugs, sending so many hugs.

I'm currently trying to find a placement myself, so I share the anxiety!

Good to hear from you.

I think it might be better that you dropped the education.

Stressing out about not getting the reading done and the studying done would just make you feel depressed.

I dropped out of university because it just wasn't working for me. I then waited until the teacher's seminar started and ended up with a bachelors in education and a job I love.

Dropping the university was the best thing I ever did.

Something good can come out of something that might initially seem like a failure.

Actually I can think of many things in my own life that seemed to be a failure in the beginning then turned out to be the best thing to happen for me.

One thing you should do is call your employment office and ask if you are still considered to be a student or not. Seems you need to get that off your mind so you can relax.

P.S
I clicked all the eggs :)

But I seriously want to become a librarian, I actually like that school so it feels so frustrating that I can't get it done... It's just two measly years.

If I remember right you are pretty young, right?

You have time.

You could take a year off from your education. Find a job and just work during that year off. That way you could return to your education with more energy and determination.

Or maybe you could talk to the school and get the education over a longer period (maybe 3 years) that way you wouldn't be/feel so pressured.

Have clicked all your eggs : )

I agree with others before me; just because everyone seems to think education should always be done as soon as possible doesn't mean taking a break from it isn't sometimes the best thing to do. I'd find out whether you're counted as a student or not so you at least know that, and if you're not, try to get those services you want and need : )

Please have a free hug!

Thank you so much! I don't have time to give those prompts now, and I'll be spending a weekend in Finncon so I it might last awhile.
