A greenhouse isn't a bad idea, but, um, where would we get all the glass? If I'm not mistaken, which, um, I totally could be, glass is made of sand, and there isn't any sand. Even around the lake, it's mostly just mud... without even a high clay content or anything.

Ohhh, you're right...I don't know of any other way we'd be able to do it...maybe someone'll think of something.

Can glass be reverse-blown? If so, if there's anything glass in the stores, we could maybe melt it down and re-form it? Like we'd have to do if we need anything made of metal? I dunno.

Hey.... maybe you could use cloth instead! Strong white cloth! That would let sunlight in, and you could put it on a wooden frame or something so the snow couldn't get in. I don't know how much cold it would keep out, though... cloth doesn't insulate very well.

Yeah, that's the problem. Coramir said that we might be able to use cloth instead, though. Just put it on a wooden frame and it'd keep the snow out...but it probably doesn't keep heat in very well.

We planted some flowers around the lake a while back. A few around the cabins too~ But the cold might kill them, so we were thinking of making a greenhouse Or something like it to keep them warm.
