((hope you don't mind if I tack onto yours, Raph...))
[Something wasn't right. Really wasn't right. Foot had kept low and under a couch during the whole tree thing. No one was being hurt, and Polka and the house seemed to be fine.
But then...Polka left. And Foot could hear her coughing through the journal. And then she felt that wave of power, like that of a Guardian, and she knew...Polka had done something.
She spent several minutes pacing the living room floor, howling her distress. But soon, practicality over-rode instinct. She pushed her way through one of the screen windows, and as soon as she hit the ground, she changed, becoming a long, lithe, lynx like cat that could rival a shetland pony in size. She tore after the magical 'scent' in the air, her fears of Outside gone in the fear of losing 'her' human
( ... )
[ Only dimly aware of the conversation behind her, Polka manages as far as the stairs before she has to stop to catch her breath. A glance towards Foot to reassure the cat, and she sloooowly trots up to the next floor. Wait - are there still people in the house? At this point, a herd of elephants could tap dance past and she wouldn't notice. ]
[ The bracing is appreciated, Raph, because by the time she's reached the top step, she looks so drained it'll be a miracle she can make it to her room. She smiles at Foot, her voice faint enough that she's barely aware anyone else is with her. ]
'm okay... I'm okay..
it worked didn't it..
[ Bed good. Bed very good. And she faceplants onto the floor when she's only two steps away, out cold. .... ..
.. hey she tried. ._. ]
[ OOC: ♥ Feel free to skip me at this point on, Polka will icly be sleepies for a while. Tag me on XMaichiX if you have any questions :D ]

... Yes, it isn't far. [ Just a few steps to get inside, up the stairs and then to her room. ]

[He stoops down and helps her to her feet, ready to catch her if she falls again.]

[ She would have had a lot more trouble getting home if he and Foot hadn't come along. ]
True to her word, Polka is - while a bit unsteady, able enough to stand. She looks like she's about to fall over still, so she holds her arms out. ]
Come on Foot.

[Foot will walk alongside Polka as she makes her way into the house, glancing back at Raphael questioningly]

[Then the journal closes and he lifts her sleeping body onto the bed. She better just be sleeping.
