((hope you don't mind if I tack onto yours, Raph...))
[Something wasn't right. Really wasn't right. Foot had kept low and under a couch during the whole tree thing. No one was being hurt, and Polka and the house seemed to be fine.
But then...Polka left. And Foot could hear her coughing through the journal. And then she felt that wave of power, like that of a Guardian, and she knew...Polka had done something.
She spent several minutes pacing the living room floor, howling her distress. But soon, practicality over-rode instinct. She pushed her way through one of the screen windows, and as soon as she hit the ground, she changed, becoming a long, lithe, lynx like cat that could rival a shetland pony in size. She tore after the magical 'scent' in the air, her fears of Outside gone in the fear of losing 'her' human.
When Polka, and Raphael, came into view, she slowed to a walk, her wings unfurled to show she belonged here in Luceti as well. Raph may or may not be able to see the slight silvery-gold aura around her. But he could definitely hear her 'voice'.]
[There's a mental sigh and a pause, before Foot stands and lets the change fade. She's back to her normal size, and shivering. Without her familiar form, she feels exposed and vulnerable, but...she'll hold strong for this, for as long as she has to.]
[Raph sheathes his sai, taking a deep breath to combat the rush of adrenaline and shaking his head. After everything he's been through he should just stop being surprised.
He steps sideways, kneeling beside Polka now.]
I don't know what happened. [He reaches to tap her lightly on the cheek.] She was coughing then she fell, after she did that magic thing with the trees.
[Foot would normally change back, to make things easier on her, but after that whole exchnage, she doesn't want to push Raphael into thinking he needs his weapons again. So instead, she'll slink over in a typical 'scared kitty' walk. Once she reaches Polka, she'll look at up at him for a moment.]
Magic...I knew it was her... [She carefully sniffs Polka's cheek, and then the breath coming from her lips before stepping back]
She used too much, I think. She is still so young, and maybe not well. She told me the other day she'd been feeling tired.
Although I protect her, I am not her Familiar, so I could not lend her power for this. [She huddles next to Polka's still body] She should be put in bed, and given things that would help an exhausted human.
[ She's about as limp as a rag doll when she's scooped up, fighting to stay awake and alert. A faint half-smile on her face as she hears the kitty. Which was a shock that Foot came all this way out when she was normally so hesitant about being Outside(tm). ]
I can see trees... it worked?
[ Probably a good thing she's still out of it - Foot won't be tempted to jump at those pigtails of hers since they're dangling like a pair of ribbons and all. She stretches one arm down as much as she can in an attempt to reach Foot - a failure of an attempt. Her arms aren't that long! ]
[Foot will give a reassuring purr when she sees Polka reaching for her, and if Raphael pauses for a moment, she'll use his leg as a brace to stand up and gently rub her head into that reaching hand. She's still shivering the tiniest bit, but her concern for Polka is greater.]
[ She's probably getting the same view of the kitty as in the icon XD Polka smiles at the purr, but she watches for their surroundings to change as they get near the house. And once she sees it, she draws in a breath. ]

That's my human you're crouching over like prey, brother of Donatello. I just want to know she's all right! You back off!

[Foot's tail continues to lash, and her ears are still halfway down, but she sits, watching those sai carefully.]
Now will you let me look at her? Or will we both reward her friendship with the spilling of each others' blood?

[He doesn't move. Raph doesn't take to threats too kindly.]

[Raph scoops her up easily into his arms, ready to carry her back home, then looks down to Foot.]
I'll bring her back home, then we can call Donnie. He'll know what to do.
