A/N: regan_v issued a challenge the other day, to write fluffy Snape. This started out as comment fic for that, but then it took on a life of its own. It's not, despite the opening, fluffy. Though Snape does possess a pink wand. Sigh.

Wow. That was really really great, vaguely creepy, but beautifully done. My friends and I had a "Why Utopian Societies Never Work" movie night recently (watched things like "Gattaca" and "I, Robot") and this reminded me a lot of that.

And just now I'm reminded of Aeon Flux. Heh.

This is brilliant, and creepy, and I am desperate for more although I'm sure it's not forthcoming, because it doesn't seem like that kind of piece. But I want to know how and why and what happens next, darn it!

I think this was my favorite part - where Severus really recovers himself, and everything really starts up.
