Just now one of my friends in that town forwarded this to me. It's, um, an easy-to-understand explanation of the explosions and whatnot at the nuclear power plants. Using farting and pooing as an analogy. Basically, my friend was saying, "We're okay enough over here to laugh about it!"

I spoke to a science teacher today and his opinion was that the meltdown cannot be controlled, and there will be a dead zone afterward, but my town at 100km away will be okay. So it probably won't spread too far. Good news and bad news.
