My uncle is planning to visit Japan (probably Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and maybe Nara) and he has some trouble walking long distances. Anyone have any advice or know of any reasonably-priced tours that he can go on? My cousin will probably be accompanying him btw.

The one-year anniversary of the earthquake/tsunami in Japan passed a couple weeks ago.

Found these old LJ drafts I never posted. It was like, "hello, all this stuff written in the present tense is all past tense now." But I'm too lazy to change anything, so this entry is often in (temporally innaccurate) present tense.

Haven't updated the journal in a long time, but stuff has indeed been happening. I'm moving back to Canada at the end of August, which I don't think I've mentioned in my journal before? Went to this maid cafe a year ago, found it refreshingly non-sketchy and pretty inexpensive. No seating fee, no one pushing you to pay extra to take pictures or play card games with the waitresses, and the waitress I had was really good at drawing pictures with her ketchup bottle (she drew Suzumiya Haruhi on my omurice).
