So just now I taught my adult students the word sketchy when they asked me how to say すけべい in English, andafter that I kind of taught them the meanings of crap/crappy and shit/shitty and plain old poo. I haven't been teaching my children naughty words, but today in class, I laughed during a student's speech. Very loudly. <.< But he was reading it SO badly (and it is the first time I've laughed like that.)

BTW, ai says: I like the term "giant wanker" very much. Tell her it discharges her from her debt over "Long Live The Honinbou". ^_^

I've certainly laughed at my students' speeches and skits before, but usually they're trying to make me laugh. :)

Today one of my JTEs told me not to teach my kids any more "bad" words (like "gross" and "stinky") so there's no way I'm going to teach anyone "giant wanker." I would have to explain (or demonstrate) what wanking means. Nuh uh. Try again!
