[Miakis knows the smell of burning pancakes very well, having burnt more than her fair share of them over the past year, so she pokes her head into the kitchen curiously.]

Lyon? Huh, I thought I got rid of all the pancake mix...

Oh, good morning, Miakis! I found a box of it in the back of the cupboard and thought I'd give it a try.

What brought this on, all of a sudden? I've never seen you cook before... [She takes a few steps closer and peers over Lyon's shoulder, wrinkling her nose at the sight. WELP]

You're doing better than me, at least~

Well, I thought it'd be nice to learn how to cook, since I'm probably going to be living here for a while!

[She smiles back at the pancakes for a moment.]

This is actually my third try.

[Lyon blushes in embarrassment, pointing to the trash can where there are some burnt pancakes sitting on top of the pile.]

But these ones are coming out really well!

[Omi is surprised when he comes downstairs to get breakfast and it isn't Ken in the kitchen.]

Hey, Lyon. Did Ken teach you how to make pancakes?

[Glancing over her shoulder trying to see the results..]

Oh! Good morning, Omi. Ken's been showing me some things in the kitchen lately, so I thought I'd try it myself today. Do they look all right?

They look, um, great.

[Yeah, they're a little burned, but he's too nice to say that.]

Great! It's my first time, so I was worried.

[The Prince is surprised to see her. Surprised and worried. He really should have just told her not to come over without calling. Presents are nice, but his house is dangerous.]

L- Lyon! What are you doing here?

[There may be a somewhat nervous glance back towards his house.]

I brought you some cookies! I thought we could eat them together.

[Lyon blinks curiously, leaning to the side to try to look past him and see what he's so worried about.]

...Is everything all right?

Cookies? Oh. Right. Sure.

[Closing the door quickly and stepping out.]

Why don't we go to your house?

[Lyon blinks for a moment, but then shrugs.]

All right, I don't mind.

[Ken smelt something in the kitchen, oh thank god it wasn't Miakis.]

Ah? Lyon? Whatcha doin'?

Oh! Good morning, Ken. I thought I'd try making breakfast.

Ah, I see. [Pancakes, he hadn't had those in a while, ever since Miakis threw out all the mixes. Well, at least he thought she had. Oh well.]

It smells good.

You think so? I've been through a few batches already. It's harder than it looks.
