[You mentioned something about a couch? She's more than happy to curl up on it.]

[Very well---while she is curling, Jack will be in the kitchen swathing peanut butter and jelly onto two slices of bread. It is one of his favorite meals. He notices that the most of the glassware didn't survive the move, but everything else seems intact.

When it's ready, he'll bring it in for Katie---if she is still awake.]
