Haven't sewn in weeks. In fact, I haven't even turned on the light in the sewing room in weeks. Sigh. But I did present a paper at my third conference! It was held at the University of Toronto so I did get to go to the Bata Shoe Museum for the first time too. The ROM didn't have an exhibit I was dying to see, so next time. It really was the best part that I directly helped someone else's research! I know that academics can be competitive, but everyone I met was very interested in sharing and listening. Many were English professors, so maybe that had something to do with it. ;)

Good conferences are SO much fun! Sounds like you had a great experience. I would love to have heard your talk. Looks fascinating! And yay! Bata Shoe Museum!

I will definitely go back to Toronto to see the other museums and the rest of town. I hope to post my talk on Academia.edu, but I'm so swamped right now and I'm not sure how well it would read without the slides. Hmmm.
