Oooh...

I've really been looking forward to this, because I don't know if you knew it, but I picked "The Old Gods Return" at just about the same time you did, so I had to fall back on "Harvester of Eyes." I think that worked out just fine, on my end, and I'd been curious to see what you did.

Because yeah, I was gonna do either Norse or Cthulhu and YAY, MISKATONIC!

This is off to a ripping start. Love that Sam is having blackouts and dreams - never a good sign with Lovecraft.

Anxiously awaiting the rest....

Oh I would have loved to see what you'd done with this title! Though I have to admit, Harvester of Eyes is many kinds of awesome as well. Am I right in thinking you're writing something fairly long for that title?
Anyway, I hope the second part didn't disappoint. :)

I read this last night, and I haven't been able to get it out of my head. I was creeped out and intrigued and scared and turned on--which, I guess, describes Lovecraft and Supernatural together, doesn't it? Huh. Excellent.

Oh my god this is CREEPY. Very ominious and foreboding and, quite frankly, you've got me shaking in my boots socks! I'm feeling real horror here - waiting for something to leap out and scare the bejeezers out of me. And Sam's blackouts? Again, CREEPY! I can so "see" this while I'm reading, too! FABULOUS!

When people who fiddle with arcane crap ask you stuff like ‘Are you and your brother close?’ out of the blue, it’s pretty suspicious.

You’ve done a wonderful job with the tone of this fic. It comes off completely Lovecraftian, yet also very SN.
