Dishes, laundry, cooking- those chicken thighs on special that were best before today. Reminded of chicken in tarragon by someone's chance post (though her version had cherry tomatoes ugh) I did the classic Pierre Franey recipe with shallots, butter, tarragon, and white wine. To which I added mustard and it was yummy yummy. Used Franey's quantities

I only like cherry tomatoes when they're fresh, not when they're cooked.

I think your dragons would not, as you say, behave improperly in the way that mine did. Though I do wonder how they do behave improperly? We tend not to see the lower ranks of your courts, except as the occasional favourites of royalty...

How do they behave improperly? The usual ways: sulking at older brothers, coveting older brothers' favourites, ignoring older brothers' stated wishes to go hang out with unwashed Marshals... all that. The lower ranks are naturally the well-beahved and invisible automata that good servants are supposed to be in a well-run universe. Modelled on Japanese conveni staff, actually.

I'm now envisaging Jin Zhi and Qing Song as cousins and both coveting Hu, and Hu trying to play them off against each other while not getting caught doing it.
