'Delayed reader' syndrome

My grasshopper memory means I can't easily read WIPs. I need that 'in our last thrilling episode/ manga chapter/ tankoubon/ volume' reference for absolutely everything. I do want to read the ending of FMA, but I hesitate because it involves reading the last ten vols of FMA. At least. And every new Aaronovitch requires rereading the previous ( Read more... )

I am flattered that you chose to read the whole thing, and totally delighted that you enjoyed it.

(And yes, Kai is his shortening of "Kaien". I'm not sure exactly why he did it (anonymity? alteration of name to be less obvious while hanging out in Europe?) but it ended up that way. Naturally, his elders will use his proper name when referring to him.)

After your musing about what's going to happen in the story, I felt the need to get what /had/ happened straight. It made for a very pleasant week, and a nice corrective to The Sweet Scent of Blood. 'See, it's perfectly possible to have vampires and fae and dragons and even Sherlock Holmes in a story, and keep them all perfectly distinct.'
