Manga; & House taken over

Friday I discovered two of the translated Madara at BMV and polished them off yesterday. I don't know if Madara's really as dismissable as it comes across in English-- or to turn it around, if the resonances I sense in the later manga avatar are due entirely to Japanese scrim. The latter is a chronic anxiety of mine: 'there's less here than meets

*sigh* we have a sock poltergeist too it would seem. Maybe there's like a corporation of sock poltergeist and they do exchanges or something. What gets me is that I've got to the point where I pair them BEFORE going into the wash and yet somehow when they're all dried and ready to be folded and put away ... lo an behold ... the odd sock! Aaaargh!!! I suppose there is a possibility of there being a black hole of sorts in my washing machine specifically geared towards socks!

You discourage me. I'd assumed that if I paid attention to what socks went into which wash, and possibly knotted them together, that they wouldn't get lost. So it's a black hole, evidently. I'm still chuffed that everyone has a black sock hole because that makes the phenomenon normal.

We've had a poltergeist in the family for years, with an honest-to-gosh origin story and everything. Haven't seen much activity from him lately, although I'm fairly sure there's a black hole in the house. It takes various things; the most recent is a Shiba-wanko book of which I was fond. Sniffle.

You mean he's not place-specific but follows you when you move? How inconvenient. Black holes however are everywhere.
