You know, I don't think I've ever seen a copy of Yoshitoshi's Sotoba no Komachi for sale and I probably wouldn't have bought it in my giddy thirties even if I had. Someone who's not only content with her memories, but is enjoying the current view as well. Not so much "I'm reduced to watching the rain" but "I'm enjoying watching the rain".

Nice warm spring rain, full of the smell of falling cherry blossoms. Oh, and I can finally walk out in it because I'm no longer wearing twelve layers of kimono with my hair down to my ankles. Gosh, old age is wonderful!
