I gave up the BFL shakes because of how loaded they are in sugar! They were actually put down by the BFL tracker site because apparently, these shakes...even though they state BFL on them were only created to compete against slim fast! How awful.
So what I do now is have a shake with whey protein (which you can find near the shakes). I buy Designer Whey and it's great! You can put it in milk, oatmeal, bake with it...tons of options! The chocolate is awesome because I stir it really well in my milk and I swear it tastes just like chocolate milk!
I only wish I could make these shakes ahead of time and bring them with me to work. I should start doing that, but I already run so late in the morning as it is. I heard if you make them too far ahead of time they actually taste funky because the protein separates or something?

Yeah, i had heard that about BFL too...the only reason i stick wit hthem...is because its really the only sugar im having throughout the day...and because i cant stand the bloated/gassy feeling from slim fast. So, I will try the whey...it is hard for me beacause i like to bring it pre-made...but I could definitely keep some skim milk in the fridge and bring it to work. Thank you!!

But the milk in the fridge. I gotta try that. That way I can just shake shake shake and mix it that way.
