Yay I love this! You got all my detailed feedback in the beta, but I'll say again that I love that Sam calls him "Alec", and John says "Dean" over and over again as though repetition will make it true. It's wonderful. *g*

It's actually worded that way on purpose. It's a theme in the style that carries over from the first story (Heritage) and supposed to read succinctly (and thus, not nice).

I just found this series. It's really compelling, the way it's so abrupt and sparse. I like how Alec doesn't know how to be a part of a family. Will you be doing more? Cause you kinda left it at a cliffhanger!! :-)
