word to everything you said about House, ESPECIALLY about Cameron. Man. I have been WAITING for her dead husband to come up, because srsly? It was like a mini-shocker in the first season (maybe the second, IDK) and then they dropped it. O_o I was always a bit surprised by that.
Ikr? They really mentioned her husband only in passing, or to almost justify her obsession with wanting to 'take care' of House and then left it at that. I figured they'd use it later on, but I'm surprised they left it this late. I liked how they did it though. It was nice to see her be vulnerable and insecure without being the damsel in distress or having an overdramatic breakdown. It was really subtle, and it made me appreciate her character a lot more than I had in the past.
they did do it very well. the writing has seemed better, this season? more in line with canon, if that makes sense. like, they brought up Wilson's brother again! they totally left that one hanging for a long time as well.
They have been better at canon this season! I loved that they brought Wilson's brother up! I also love that they finally confirmed that House and Cuddy met in college, because there was a lot of speculation on that for a really long time. They seem to be picking up a lot of their loose ends, which excites me, and I feel they started a lot of new stuff as well this season, which leaves so much potential for next series, like House and Cuddy, and the psych ward, Chase and Cameron married, Thirteen's illness, etc etc. I'm stoked!
Haha, the House/Cuddy sexytimes epic hallucination is at the end of episode 5x23. It is indeed epic and amazing, and if you go onto the Fox House website, they released this promo that was all "OMGZ, HUDDY FANS~ (they actually used the term 'huddy' lol), THIS IS WHAT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR~" and hence why everyone in the fandom is shitting themselves at it being a hallucination.
I'm apparently a really bad fan of the show too, lol, because I pretty much love everything involved in it with the exception of Cameron/House because, seriously, dnw. I like Foreman/Thirteen too! They're not my favourite, but I like them still! But yeah, there's a lot of hate for both of them, her especially which I don't get, because I quite like her character.
Rufus/Lily are my Gossip Girl OTP. Hands down. I like Chuck and Blair, but every relationship between the kids is getting stale and boring. Serena/Dan in particular, if they ever go "on" again I will loose it.
Rockstar!Rufus and Muse!Lily, yes please! Plus, I thought I would hate her sister - but turns out I actually kind of loved her. I mean she gets rich off of the Fanny Pack. Hilarious and ingenious - I like it!
It is going to be a rough summer, I can't think of one show in June that I watch. Any recommendations?
Rufus/Lily are the greatest thing ever. I don't even know what it is about it, but that scene at the train station where One Republic's 'Come Home' plays just broke my heart so hard that I started to ship them. I'm weird like that, haha. All the kids relationships are getting stale and boring and I think it's actually a result of the writers trying too hard to make them interesting. They just end up coming out unrealistic. I love the Blair/Serena dynamic, and it was so well done in the first series, and now it just sort of sits on the backburner most of the time. They had such an intense, co-dependent relationship in the first series, and I loved that. Not even necessarily as a 'couple', but even as friends I really like that dynamic
