- i saw 'how to train your dragon' today. i am not entirely sure if it is because of my excessive love of dragons, but that movie may have been one of the greatest things ever. it was so much fun! and so much preciousness and awesome and toothless was exactly like my cat! like, in his mannerisms and everything and omg. love it ( Read more... )

What, wait what have you heard about Liam and Naomi? Gah, I am overly invested in that relationship. And I still don't love Teddy, he's too damn old looking for his character.

i am overly invested too! i just don't understand why they put so much effort and climatic tension into getting them back together only to plan to break them up again. apparently, according to spoilers, liam and naomi aren't going to be together all that long, because he's the new love interest~ for annie post-jasper, which i'm really not looking forward to. i mean, i'd finally gotten around to not hating her character, but now she's going to come between my 90210 otp ( ... )

Ok way belated, but Annie and Liam? Would be BULLSHIT. MY GOD SHE HAS MORE CHEMISTRY WITH DIXON AND HE'S HER BROTHER. Ugh.

Yes! Teddy would have been great as the friendly college dude looking for some underage ass. He would also have then been a temporary character (or at least not until the ~college years~) and then everything would have been much better.

I am truly worried about Harry.

SERIOUSLY. i may actually cry if annie and liam hook up. it'll be so gross. i can't even comprehend a way of them making it work in a way that i'll believe.

and seriously. teddy would have been so much better that way. also, by having him as this college character he could've been kind of minor and i feel like people would've liked him on their own terms before he became a more major character in the college years~, but he's kind of been forced down everybody's throat this way.

and yeah, harry. he's leaving the show at the end of the season, isn't he? idk what's going to happen with him.

I also saw How To Train Your Dragon this weekend and looooooved it. I mean, Toothless was essentially a big kitty mixed with a little bit of Stitch, and it was fantastic. I was admittedly pretty upset when he was locked down on the boat, and even moreso when the ship went underwater. Like, more than I reasonably should be for an animated character in a kids' movie. But I think that's a good thing! I wasn't expecting to get emotionally attached!

Also, UM VAGUE SPOILERS FOR ANYONE READING THIS-- how surprised were you at the end, with regards to Hiccup's leg? I've never seen them do that to a protagonist child.

And WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CRIMINAL MINDS. I am glad you're on that fandom train now!

it was so good! i wasn't expecting to get emotionally attached either, but between the scene you said with toothless and the one with hiccup's dad being mad at him and saying he wasn't even a son to him anymore, i totally shed a tear! it was so good ( ... )

haha I totally thought toothless reminded me of my cat too! He was adorable. I did enjoy the dragons, much more than the people, but I was surprised at how ugly most of them were!

i remember my old english teacher used to tell us that the word 'cute' actually meant ugly, but interesting looking, and that was totally how i summed up most of the dragons in the movie, lol. they were awesome though! and yesss, so much better than the people, although i did like how his dad saved toothless at the end! it was really sweet!
