tomorrow when the war began

This was one of my favourite books growing up, and I'd kind of heard they were making the film, but hadn't really engaged with the idea. Although, the trailer! Omg, you guys, it looks awesome! I'm so excited!

That looks freaking awesome. Is the book by the same name? I'll definitely have to add that to my very long to-read list.

It does, hey? I'm ridiculously excited for it. And yes it is! It's actually the first in a series called 'the tomorrow series' as well. it's pretty awesome.

I fell way in love with the Tomorrow Series when I was a teenager and I'm kinda torn by this trailer. On the one hand I'm really excited and hopeful for something awesome, on the other I'm so afraid they're going to mess up these amazing characters.

Homer looks different to what I expected but I think I'm going to LOVE him.

I was really, really nervous before I saw the trailer, but the writer/director is someone I have faith in, well, as a writer at least, since this will be his first time directing. He's an Aussie, but he wrote all three Pirates of the Caribbean, Collateral, Bra Boys and 30 Days of Night, so that's a good sign. I'm glad you're excited too! I'm seriously hoping that it's fab.

And yesss, I totally agree on Homer. He wasn't I imagined either, but the more times I watch the trailer, the more I see it and like it.
