So far, this has seriously been the gayest week of television ever, both in terms of The Big Bang Theory and Gossip Girl. It's awesome ( Read more... )

I've had so much else to watch in terms of TV that I haven't bothered to download any of S3 of Gossip Girl... And from most of my flist's reactions, I may not bother. Which is sad, because season 1 and most of season 2 were SO awesome!

It does still have its moments, but I think it's lost a lot of what made it so damn good. It's like the Josh Schwartz curse or something. The same thing happened to The OC, started brilliantly, ended terribly.

OMG you're right - the OC was exactly the same! Damn you Josh Schwartz!!

Lol, I feel like the lone fan of this season of Gossip Girl...although I think a large part of it is that it's the show that makes me rage the least out of everything I watch. Nothing puts an episode of Heroes in perspective like a episode of Gossip Girl on the same night.

Haha, watching House straight after an episode of Gossip Girl just makes you realise how cringeworthy both acting and script in the latter are. It's horrific.

Lol, well I think perhaps I will not watch House then. Otherwise it will no doubt put me off GG and Heroes, and then I will have nothing to do on a Tuesday. Eheh.

Haha Howard and Raj are way more interesting to me as a couple then Penny and Leonard or Penny and Sheldon!

don't like what they're doing to Blair's character, and I'd rather have the memory of how awesome she was then continue to watch them ruin her character.

I definitely agree! Blair used to be wonderfully evil, yet still vulnerable. I feel like she's lost the deviousness that made her so delicious.

Lol, i agree! i even like leonard and penny, but raj anf howard are so much more entertaining.

blair used to be such an interesting character, she was evil and vulnerable and incredibly strong, where as now, she's just immature. it almost feels like i'm watching bad fanfic now when i watch the show.

You're right, GG simply isn't what it used to be and that makes me sad because the first two seasons were so intense. If everything else failed, I could always fast forward to the Blair/Chuck parts but this season, even those two leave me feeling BLAH...It's just like you said: we're watching a bad fanfic version of the show.
Meanwhile, The Big Bang was awesome: I felt so sorry for poor Sheldon. Jim Parsons is simply adorable. Is it weird that I actually ship Sheldon and Penny?
Speaking of things awesome, House was EPIC this Monday, particularly the House/Cuddy/Wilson parts. These guys pwn me. House's nicknames for Cuddy's sweater puppies, the dance scene, finding Lucas in Cuddy's room, drugging Wilson, delivering his speech...A+

The first season in particular was so, so awesome, and part of that awesome was the intensity of the characters and the relationships. I feel like everything's been watered down this season. I mean, the threesome was epic fail, and I can't help but think that if it had been earlier (or with other characters, lol) that it would have been a world and a half better.

Everything about The Big Bang Theory continues to be fabulous. It's like my go-to show for guilt-free entertainment. I like Sheldon and Penny too! I don't know if I ship it, but I enjoy their interactions. A lot of people in the fandom seem to ship it though, so you're certainly not alone. :)

HOUSE WAS EPIC. Like, seriously. Everything about it. I just *hands*. I'm still super stoked, omg. :D
