This was such a thoughful and interesting look at Tom. A little while ago I wrote a Tom/Iekeliene Stange fic and your Tom really made me think about who I wrote mine. There was something so poetic and tangled about your Tom and his thought process. Something about him and how he interacted with other people, that really got to me. With mine Tom he was such a mess, so unable to communicate and so unaware that he was unable to communicate (so to was Iekeliene, well, to an extent). I don't know. I hope I'm articulating my reaction in the right way - you work just echoed within my mine and really made be examine my own.
