When I Come Around

this is incredible. great characterization of Tom, and one of the best uses I've ever seen of photography in a bandfic. the last few paragraphs are so dreamy and bittersweet- just really, really well done. thank you for sharing this.

I really loved the way you build up and deconstructed Tom's thoughts, the way he seems awkward because he exists in a series of stills, and there is perforce a jerkiness to the transitions. That was awesome and amazing. And I loved how Michael was just himself, not deep or anything, but just feeling his way along, and feeling deeply.

i got really excited when i saw this fic, because i've never known about any fics besides my own that had this pairing, and oh man. this was absolutely amazing and wonderful. i loved how you really got into tom's head and stream of consciousness, how he's not exactly bitter about the academy anymore, and also how he can't seem to find the words to express what he feels, but lets his pictures do the talking for him. ♥ definitely putting this in my memories!
