Um...I'm starting to feel a bit insecure about all these LJ updates. I don't really have anything fantastic to contribute, any artwork or fanfiction or poetry or witty axioms, but that's okay

You're probably going to get a rambly email from me today. IN THE MEANTIME LOL LJ. What dorm're you in, then? D: I was happy you got one of the Ridges. Now I am sad for you. ;; You're probably okay, though. And if you're not, you can just change out, like I said. You will have plenty of time to get the hang of it before room-change jumps on you. That'll probably be...August..30th? Ish? Not sure. They'll tell you! I would, however, email your roommate ASAP. It won't get easier if you wait. Lololol, fadedfeathers, another Sarah. XD
*handwave* You're as tall as I am, if not about an inch taller, and I generally don't consider myself big. Long, if anything. Short people just have to look up. XD Feeling bulky might have something to do with hormones, too. I know it happens to me.
And hooray for Sarahs, too.flannelchild15July 15 2008, 19:16:31 UTC
Hooray rambly emails!
I'm in Westridge, which I suppose is as good as Southridge. Maybe. Some people say they're the same, some people say they're not, so whatever. I'm sure it'll be okay. And you're right, I should email her. I'll write a few drafts first. Do you think I should tell her about me wanting to maybe try and get a single, or should I wait and see how it goes?
Hooray #2 for tall women! I'm feeling a bit less bulky now, you're prolly right about the hormones. Pesky lil buggers.

BAH. The Ridges are exactly the same. Wth. XD I lived in WR for 10 days and actually tend to like it better than SR [I don't know why].
I think...maybe you should not tell her you want a single right off. XD Because it adds a flavor of futility to the whole living-together thing. Introduce yourself as if you're going to be rooming all year, and after the first few days, make your decision about moving. [And if you're going to try to get out, tell her. Gently. But in a prompt manner, as she may want to fanangle someone into her room in your place.]
Er...Hi! Dunno if you remember me--Deb's friend's daughter, the anime fan one. ^^;; Been meaning to tell you I changed screennames.
(Also, as I've never seen you, I can't really tell you "It's fine, you're not weird-looking" and expect you to believe me, so may I instead compliment you on your poem?)
I like your new sn :)flannelchild15July 15 2008, 19:07:01 UTC
Hey! I was definitely wondering who you were, but now: mystery solved! Thanks for the compliment :D I love poetry...you can warp it as much as you like, and (usually) get away with it. e e cummings makes me incredibly happy in that respect. (which isn't to say that my totally awesome poems are anything like his, just that...yeah. warped.)
I live to confuse~ XD I changed on AIM, too--I'm hikikomori uta now. And e e cummings is awesome. Admittedly, I haven't read a ton of his stuff, but yes. Love.
