Really? Not at all?? Because, um . . . yellow and purple plastic robot costumes.

Yellow and purple plastic robot costumes.

And they did it another time with more traditional spacesuits:

They did? hee! I guess Arashi got off pretty easily for theirs then--though their debut outfits earned them a bit of a respite, I think.

There's this amusing quasi-narrative section with the spacesuits, where it looks like they're in pods being made or something. idek. I should go watch that again or something. ^_^

Ah, I was all prepared to offer that same theory about Ohno's butt-padding, but you beat me to it!

In substitution, another hypothesis: the stiff plastic spacesuit material, which doesn't bend easily, and thus is not ideal for dancing, actually helps Nino's dancing because he can't flop around quite as much as usual.

Maybe?

And Ohno has that big corrugated collar to protect against wear when he constantly adjusts his headset mic?

And I love the way you managed to get in six caps of Aiba's hair, just for hair's sake. Well done.

(Jane Austen + zombies? Everyone I know is getting that for Christmas! Oh, damn, Christmas is over! But I didn't get anyone any presents, so...)

I think it comes out in April!

Anna sent me the link, and . . . awesomeness!! I want to know how Lizzie takes out the Zombies!!

Agreed! I find this totally plausible . . .

Dude. Aiba's hair owns this performance. I had more but didn't want it to get completely out of control . . .

Aiba's hair&hearts TSD should send him to a US zoo. Just saying.

Don't wanna teach tomorrow. Chevalere Assigne. It rules! puppy-babies! Shapeshifted swans! Evil grandmas! Awesome monks! Now I have to find something you know, academic to say about it. :P Other than *squee!*

Indeed, why hasn't TSD sent Aiba to the US? Of course, they'd probably send him to San Diego rather than to Indiana or Texas.

Aiba's hair owns this performance. It does seem to have a starring role -- at least in your version... But it does contrast quite nicely with the stiff plastic ( ... )

I like BG, but cannot binge it--it stresses me out too much . . . So I've seen chunks of 3 different seasons, but none in their entirety as Boy binges and I walk in every few hours and say " . . . soooooo . . . what happened?"

Yeah, it was actually a good thing that T decided to enforce my viewing, since then he was there to remind me of season 1 (which I watched more than a year ago). But it was extremely stressful and had me cursing up a storm -- both at hated characters and in response to near-deaths, etc. T laughed at me. He doesn't know that I talk at the TV when I'm alone too...

I get way too wrapped up in fictional characters. This is the real reason I shouldn't read RP fics -- somewhere beneath my feeling that it's kind of creepy is the awareness/fear that I will start to believe it.

So, I may have lost a batch of homeworks and a draft that a student turned in early. I thought I had brought them to campus with me on Friday, but they don't seem to be in my office. I sure hope they're at home, perhaps still in my ( ... )

Hi flange!

No, I'm not dead, I'm just busy. Exams suck.
I hope you're fine so far. Btw, I know what happened/happens to the package - because I wasn't sending it per air mail, it is transported by ship. Either over the Atlantic or down the coast of Africa, around the Cape of Good Hope, to India, through the South Sea, across the Pacific Ocean and to the US.
...
Yeah. I learned from it. I'm determined to do this whole package exchange thing again sometime, but now I know that I won't be cheap and send things that go outside Europe per air mail.

Picwar!
These suits look like they recycled children's rubber boots. I wonder if the costume designers visit flea markets to shop and get inspired. "Oh, look, the kindergarten sells their lost-and-found boxes from the last twenty years, with approximately fifty pairs of wellies in all colours of the rainbow! Rainbow... oh, I think I have an idea..."

Good luck on your exams!! We're just beginning a new semester here, so no exams or really serious grading for . . . at least another week *rolls eyes*

So that's what happened with the package, huh? My parents are going to laugh at me when they get it ^^" Good thing to learn, though! And I'll stop blaming customs and the post office for being paranoid/and/or vicious cookie thieves ^_~

This weekend, the Boy and I were exploring nearby towns and found a store that specialized in . . . nostalgic candies? And they carried extra sour lemon and lime flavored Nerds and I thought of you ^^ If I'm near that town again, I may grab some and lay them aside for you for the future ^_^ That is, if you like lemon and lime flavors ^^

These suits look like they recycled children's rubber boots.Yes! Or raincoats (since they do move a bit better than boot rubber--but only a little bit better)! I'd go with tarps except for the colors--and really! Bright yellow and . . . it's not lavender or lilac . . . medium purple? idek ( ... )

No problem ^_^

I had a pretty good experience--I think the net chatter tends to accentuate the negatives; I'm not sure why ^_^

And the thing about the fans winding each other up was certainly true ^^"

But the vast majority of the people I met were good-humored, happy to be there, and sure, a little anxious about all the switch-ups, but friendly and generous and awesome ^_^ Don't let any one try to convince you otherwise ^^"

And the Nerds thing was just funny to me; I had never seen those flavors before . . .
And I kind of tend to randomly fixate on foods, so I just take it for granted that others would too ^^" But you know the way that when you watch enough Arashi-related stuff, all sorts of random things get associated with them? I think that's the same now with Nerds; sorry ^^"

I should remember to tell them to watch out for the package, or they will probably have forgotten and be very confused . . .

YAY! How I love to hate these costumes! They reach a whole new level of evilness. I'm tempted to think that the woodland creatures had no input. It must have been a very busy, stressful time for them. I wouldn't condemn them for delegating. They would have been planning the disco suits of doom, the disney princess costumes, apocalypse firefighters of the future, Aiba's garter wearing boxer outfit and Jun's tribute to the matrix. They can only be responsible for a certain amount of evil! I can't think who they delegated to, but they obviously had a grudge ( ... )

Link to the vid. That was there the first time, but LJ didn't think that I should check my spelling. Even though I asked it nicely! It also ate my italics! RAR!

I love this fanvid! I might have watched it... a few times. Let me know what you think.

they start irresponsibly throwing around the word 'arctic.'*laughs* The people of Texas used to give me very strange looks when I visited in the spring. They'd be well wrapped up on days I thought were really hot. I'd always be dressed for summer. I'd probably rather be cold than too hot. It helps that I don't always feel the cold to the same extent as some others. Living in Scotland has unsurprisingly built up my tolerance. Also, I always find heating up easier than cooling down. I might take a few pictures tomorrow if the snow is still here ( ... )

ummm . . . wow . . . I realize that that was carefully put together and edited and all, but . . . fandom was totally not exaggerating the gay at all, was it *____* I think I know what I'm asking for for Christmas next year ^_^

It kind of wigs me out though, that the guy playing Arthur reminds me of a much more attractive version of a student I had (and loathed) a few years ago . . . it might cause latent hostility against the character, I'm afraid ^^"

They'd be well wrapped up on days I thought were really hot. I'd always be dressed for summer. YES. Exactly. I remember my campus visit when I was interviewing for this job and it was early March and it was 21C+, and people were huddling and wearing jackets and hoodies, and meanwhile, I had just left NJ, where it had been around 4C, and I just had to laugh. Yesterday, people were horrified I had walked in to campus when it was 4 out ( ... )
